PRAYER
"Prayer is the key to Heaven, but faith unlocks the door." A Christians prayer life is essential to spiritual growth. There is power in prayer. "The effectual fervant prayer of a rightous man availeth much". James 5:16 kjv.
We are instructed to pray for each other. This should be a part of our daily life.
DEACONS
Our deacons are elected by the church body according to the guidelines laid out for us in 1Timothy 1:8 kjv.
We currently have one active deacon, Ual Keller.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
The basis of any effective church should be Sunday School. Studying and understanding the word of God is essential in the life of a christian. The earlier we begin to learn, the more wisdom and understanding we can obtain. It is NEVER too late in life to start studying His Word and asking God for wisdom. The bible is our road map. We should know and understand its directions.
email us if you are interested in joining our bible study, sunday school
Youth
The young people of today are perhaps the most important single ingredient, aside from God, to the success of the "church". Today's leaders will be gone or retired in a few short years. The youth of today will be the "church" of tomorrow. It is our duty and responsibility to prepare our youth for the challenge that lies ahead for them!!
Music
O come let us sing unto the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Psalms 95:1
There are many types of music by which we can offer praise. While we try to stay open minded and realize the many diverse styles of praise music, we embrace the more traditional type of music for our worship services. We sing the old hymns of the church and also mix in some traditional southern gospel style songs. If done in spirit and truth, all forms of music can be used to offer honor and glory to Jesus Christ.
Community service
When saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not unto me. Psalms 25:44-45 kjv
We are here to serve our Lord by serving our community according to His instruction.
